{"id":1457,"date":"2016-08-22T11:27:58","date_gmt":"2016-08-22T10:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/school.chethams.com\/?p=1457"},"modified":"2016-08-26T10:39:33","modified_gmt":"2016-08-26T09:39:33","slug":"chethams-sixth-form-celebrate-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chethamsschoolofmusic.com\/blog\/chethams-sixth-form-celebrate-results\/","title":{"rendered":"Chetham\u2019s celebrate results for both A-level and GCSE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Following this summer\u2019s exams, Chetham\u2019s are celebrating the School\u2019s best set of A-level results since 2001, as well as superb GCSE results \u2013 with pass rates rising across all grades.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students join Chetham\u2019s from a wide range of backgrounds, with no criteria for academic ability, and the School\u2019s small class sizes and commitment to excellence, along with the commitment of our academic team, have all helped them to achieve these excellent results.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst most GCSE students will continue to Sixth Form at Chetham\u2019s, they will also be in a strong position to progress to mainstream colleges and to future study at leading conservatoires and universities.<\/p>\n<p>The Sixth Form students\u2019 hard work in both music and academic subjects will see them moving on from Chetham\u2019s to leading conservatoires and universities, including the Royal College and Royal Academy of Music in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, as well as King\u2019s College London, London School of Economics, Imperial College London and the Universities of Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester, to read subjects as diverse as Medicine, Literature, Mathematics, Politics, Law, and History.<\/p>\n<p>Well done to all of the students who took exams this summer.\u00a0 Enjoy the rest of the holidays. We look forward to welcoming the GCSE students back soon for another exciting year at Chetham\u2019s.
