In his memory, his parents have established a Bursary Fund to help young musicians as they begin their professional career.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Bursary of \u00a31000 is available to former students of Chetham&#8217;s aged between 20 and 26<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Preference will be given to students who have recently left music college or university<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>One award will be made annually by Chetham&#8217;s from the Neil Vint Bursary Fund<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The deadline for written applications is Friday 6 July 2018<\/p>\n<p>Applications should be sent to Lesley Haslam, the Head&#8217;s PA, at Chetham&#8217;s School of Music, Long Millgate, Manchester M3 1SB<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should include details of their education and professional career, and state why they would find the Bursary useful.<\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant may be invited to visit Chetham&#8217;s (travel expenses will be covered)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Neil Vint Bursary 2018 is now open for applications Neil Vint, a former student at Chetham&#8217;s from 1984-1988, died tragically in 1994.
